The intriguing uncertainty...

A contraption if one has ever observed, how an action triggers another leading to a series of events which when looked at collectively form a very beautiful picture. Its just like a stone pelted in a still lake create a series of waves. Actually this would form a better picture in mind of what I am intending to put across. These waves when start moving towards the shore, might face a stone or a tree; an object adamant enough to be moved and are then affected by it. Their course is changed, they now ride into a different direction which might lead them to the shore earlier than before or never. They never know, they never will.

Such is the uncertainty with which our life fairs along. The difference lies in the shores we desire, the stones we face, the trees we encounter. The choices we make, the decisions we take makes way for the wave. Maybe not in the direction we thought it would and that is the beauty of it. Looking back at the route it took, the stones it shook; we do feel sometimes that its worth living it. Will this feel with our lives mingle, will the waves reach the shingle.

Truly intriguing, isn't it.

A bliss bestowed...

A time, an appropriate one exits for every task or deed done with any intention. This is better realized when things fall into place, plans materialize and intentions are sufficed.

Lonavala trip was one such event for all of us. The us here, better known as the "Fantastic 4" consists of Prateek, Luv, myself and Archit. The occurrence of names are in the order of our roll number. It even did then in the first year when we were alloted rooms in the same wing. With enough of introduction now, we shall stick to the point without deviating.

Plans were made, arguments were put up but conclusively; an articulated thought of comfort first was put forward. We then hired a cab and went to bed with a realization of an adventurous and beautiful day.

With a beautiful morning, which we seldom get an opportunity to have a look at, we started our journey. We soon were beginning to realize how beautiful rainless cloudy days could be but didn't have slightest of an idea what we were going to experience. A traffic less Friday morning soon led us to the ghats gliding on the unruffled Eastern Express. There on the convoy of clouds accompanied us the whole way, spraying a bit here and there, now and then.

As we were approaching higher altitudes, the dampness in the air increased and it grew more and more cold and soothing. We started having glimpses of cascades and small waterfalls. As soon as we saw an accessible one, we took a halt to fill our lungs with the fresh air around. The aptness of our decision was becoming clearer at this point where we could enjoy the journey the way we wanted. After taking some snaps and gazing around at the natural beauty of different kinds, we headed forward. In midst of the Lonavala market, we begin to feel as we are in a human encroachment build in God's lap. The stop and go was for to collect some snacks. We then decided to move towards the Sahara Aamby Valley City which was a beautiful destination, but even after our persistence and assertion that we are harmless group of naive students from a prestigious institute well renowned across the world, our cab was directed away from the elephantine gates. As a proof of our visit to the place we clicked a few photos and turned to our final stoppage as it seemed at that point of time.On our way to Aamby Valley and back, we stopped at some places we thought we get some scenic views and clicked some snaps. The good thing was there was no end to it, the gusty air blowing on our faces with force enough to strike us off our balance, clouds playing in and out of the cab and those nagging astrologers made those spots very special.
Then came what I had often heard about the most from the wanderers of Lonavala, the Bhushi Dam. And lo, I was struck by an irony as was without any slippers or floaters. I kept on my sport shoes and with whatever we had for munching we started moving towards the apex. After walking a few hundred meters, it was clear that I had to continue barefooted. With shoes in my hands to protect them from wetting, I started on the accent with sharp pebbles under my foot testing my poise to its extent. On reaching the cascade, we were too exited to have a gush of water on our backs sitting on the cascades. After having smoking bhuttas it was now time to seek some adventure. Luv with myself, the two dexterous swimmers took a plunge into the fifty feet deep Bhushi Dam. It was liberating. Thereafter we decided to hike the waterfall, main source of its water. At time my shoes came in handy as up till then I had realized they can not be taken back dry. We scaled the wet stony mountain, crossing the waterfall now and then. The huge catchment area of the dam seemed like a small pond from the highest point we could have reached. The scenery was astounding and all of us were awestruck by the natural beauty that lay around. We could feel a heavenly bliss bestowed upon us.Trapping the moments in the digital wonder, we started on our way back carrying unforgettable memories to cherish forever in our elated and over joyous hearts. We four still had a common thought in our minds. The time, the way, the plan we chose made the day but still the feeling of all four of us being together at that moment gave it a sense of completeness and that made it perfect.

A misfortunate boon...

Living a normal life are we, but defining normal is subjective so lets take it as a jargon without much upheaval. People still think they are ill fated had they seen the plight of human without a limb. Its time you start figuring out what I am trying to say here. Every person waking up to a bright new day, ready to face it with a smile on his face is a fortunate guy.

Then there is a day when delusions of grandeur come to an end just like any other reverie. You start falling into a unprecedented pitfall. Above theory is denied, one after other a thread of incidents happen which make you believe that mischance has lain its wrath upon you. That is the time when one should expect impetuous winds coming his way. Treasures are unveiled by people who still believe there is lot to come; continue their odyssey.

Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time leadership mattered, now dealership rules the world.
Once upon a time quality was craftsman's pride, now it is a departmental mess.
Once upon a time mouse was a untouchable mammal, now it's a handheld pest.
Once upon a time wisdom was cultivated by wise people, now it is flashed on T-shirts.
Once upon a time teachers taught and students learnt, now teacher trade and students consume.
Once upon a time population was a problem, now it is a flourishing mass market.
Once upon a time competition brought out the best in products, now it brings out the worst in people.
Once upon a time there was a golden rule, now if you have gold, you rule.
Once upon a time truth telling was good for your soul, now it is bad for your promotion.
Once upon a time success meant living by ideals, now it is about rising above all principles.
Once upon a time beauty was in the eye of the beholder, now it's a blooming business.
Once upon a time the government was clean and sex was dirty! Now, one doesn't know.
